LDAP over SSL Groups (Oracle ILOM CLI)

The switch supports multiple types of LDAP over SSL groups, namely, administrator groups, operator groups, and custom groups. Some rules apply to each type.

If your network uses LDAP over SSL admin groups, you must configure those groups on the switch so that members of the admin group can access the switch.

  • Admin group configured on the LDAP over SSL server must match the admin group configured on the switch.

  • Admin group names must comply with the standard LDAP over SSL name formats for admin groups.

  • The switch supports a maximum of five groups.

If your network uses LDAP over SSL operator groups, you must configure those groups on the switch so that members of the operator group can access the switch.

  • Operator group configured on the LDAP over SSL server must match the group configured on the switch

  • Operator group names must comply with standard LDAP over SSL name formats for operator groups.

  • The switch supports a maximum of five groups.

If your network uses LDAP over SSL custom groups, you must configure those groups on the switch so that members of the custom group can access the switch.

  • Custom group configured on the LDAP over SSL server must match the group configured on the switch.

  • Custom group names must comply with standard LDAP over SSL name formats for custom groups.

  • The switch supports a maximum of five groups.
