Access SEFOS

The switch supports different management interfaces for configuring features in its Ethernet network. The switch's support for Ethernet occurs through the embedded management switch (EMS). Oracle's Sun Ethernet Fabric Operating System (SEFOS) runs on the EMS and controls the configuration and management of the switch’s Ethernet features.

1. Log in to the switch through the Oracle ILOM CLI.

   See Access Oracle ILOM From the CLI.

2. Start the EMS console.

   -> start /System/Networking/Switches/Switch_0/fs_cli
   Are you sure you want to start /System/Networking/Switches/Switch_0/fs_cli
   (y/n)? y

   SEFOS login:

3. Log in to SEFOS.

   SEFOS login: root
   Password: password
   SEFOS#
