Switch Management Overview
The switch has four management contexts, each of which is managed through specific
software that runs on three different hardware chips. Some of these contexts are related
to the switch and its hardware, and some are related to the IB fabric and Ethernet
network to which the switch connects.

Oracle Fabric Manager
|
SCP
|
Controls the switch's IB fabric, supported IB-attached hosts, and
configuration and management of IB features through GUI or
CLI.

Sun Ethernet Fabric OS (SEFOS)
|
Ethernet management switch (EMS)
|
Controls the switch's Ethernet switch chip, Ethernet networking
parameters, and configuration of Ethernet and IP features.
This guide contains a summary of basic administration tasks you
might use through the SEFOS functionality supported on the switch.
