Test the Management Network Configuration (Oracle ILOM Web)

The switch can send IPv4 ping and IPv6 ping6 packets to a specified destination to ensure that networking is configured correctly.

1. Choose ILOM Administration→Connectivity, and click the Network tab.
2. Click the Network Tools link.
3. Click Tools.

   A pop-up window is displayed that supports running a ping test.

4. From the Test Type drop-down menu, select the type of ping test:
   • For an IPv4 network, select ping.
   • For an IPv6 networking, select ping6.
5. Enter the IP address you want to ping, for example, the gateway address.
6. Click Test.

   The ping results are displayed in the pop-up window.

7. When you are done testing, click Close.
