Reset the Ethernet Switch Chip Functionality (Oracle ILOM CLI)

The switch has an Ethernet switch chip, also known as the EMS chip, which is networking switch 0. By default, this switch is brought online whenever the switch is powered on. While the switch is running, you can use this task to reset the EMS.

1. Reset the network switch chip 0 (EMS chip).

   -> reset /System/Networking/Switches/Switch_0
   Are you sure you want to reset /System/Networking/Switches/Switch_0 (y/n)? y
   ->
   

2. Reset the SEFOS on the EMS chip.

   -> reset /System/Networking/Switches/Switch_0/sefos
   Are you sure you want to reset /System/Networking/Switches/Switch_0/sefos (y/n)? y
   ->
