Oracle ILOM Web Interface Overview
Note -
The Oracle ILOM web interface is only supported with the Microsoft Internet
Explorer and Mozilla Firefox web browsers.
You can use the Oracle ILOM web interface navigation pane to start some tasks, but
more commonly to navigate to a destination page. Each page has a work space, where you
can display current settings, provide information, set parameters, or access other
management elements.
Some pages have a tabbed display of additional functionality across the top of a work
space. Clicking the tab displays the work space for the corresponding functionality
where you manage that functionality.
Some pages have drop-down menus and buttons that support configuring additional
features. Choosing menu items or clicking buttons might display additional pop-up
windows where you continue your management tasks.
By default, the system summary dashboard is displayed. The dashboard provides quick,
at-a-glance information for overall switch and subsystem operation. For example, the
switch's power subsystem information is displayed, so you can see quickly if power
conditions are normal. Some management tasks are also available through the subsystems
displayed on the dashboard, but this document assumes the navigation panel as the
starting point for all management tasks.
