If you use the nm3tool in command mode, use the following syntax:
nm3tool apply|help|hostname||import_ilom_configipaddress|menu|show|timezone|upgrade|verify|version
where:
apply commits the pending nm3tool options.
help displays the nm3tool help text.
hostname sets the system host name. This function is available through Oracle ILOM also.
import_ilom_config brings the Oracle ILOM configuration back to memory from another location.
ipaddress sets the system IP address for the SCP.
menu switches the tool to menu mode, in which a numbered menu of some nm3tool functions are available.
show displays the nm3tool options configured.
timezone sets the timezone for the system. This function is available through Oracle ILOM also.
upgrade sets the switch into upgrade mode. This function is available through Oracle ILOM also.
verify runs a short integrity check on the switch and any installed firmware.
version displays version information for switch firmware controlled by the nm3tool.
