Language:

Change a User Password

Ensure that you have the Administrator Privileges and the HPDU is in configuration mode.
To change a user password, at the config:# prompt, type user modify <name> password, and press Enter.
<name> is the name of the user whose settings you want to change. For example, to change the password of the user "May," at the config:# prompt, type user modify May password, and press Enter.
When prompted, type the password, and press Enter.
Re-type the same password for confirmation and press Enter.
If the password change is successful, the config:# prompt appears.
