BIOS Setup Utility Menus

The following table provides descriptions for the top-level BIOS Setup utility menus.

Menu
Description
Main
View and configure general product information, including time and date, security settings, system serial number, and CPU and DIMM information.
Advanced
View and configure information for the CPU, trusted computing, USB, and other information. Set the IP address for the server SP.
Boot
Enable or disable internal OSA support, set the boot mode to Legacy BIOS or UEFI BIOS, and configure the boot device priority.
IO
Manage configuration settings for I/O devices, such as I/O virtualization settings, and enable and disable Option ROMs.
Save & Exit
Save changes and exit, discard changes and exit, discard changes, or restore the default BIOS settings.
