Servicing the CMIOU Chassis
SPARC M8-8 and SPARC M7-8 servers each have a single CMIOU chassis. For the location of the chassis, see Server Front Components (SPARC M8-8 and SPARC M7-8 Servers).
SPARC M7-16 servers have two CMIOU chassis and a single switch chassis. For the locations of these chassis, see Server Front Components (SPARC M7-16).
The steps involved in replacing either of these chassis are the same.
