Prepare to Power Off the Server or Domain

1. Notify any affected users that the server or domain will be shut down.

   Refer to the Oracle Solaris system administration documentation (http://www.oracle.com/goto/solaris11/docs) for additional information.

2. Save any open files and stop programs that are running on the server or affected domain.

   Refer to your application documentation for specific information for these processes.

3. Shut down all logical domains.

   Refer to the Oracle VM Server for SPARC system administration documentation (http://www.oracle.com/goto/vm-sparc/docs) for details.

4. Shut down the Oracle Solaris OS.

   Refer to the Oracle Solaris administration documentation for details.

5. Power off the server or domain.
