Disconnect Cables From the Server

Caution  - The system supplies standby power to the circuit boards even when the system is powered off.

1. Label all cables connected to the server.
2. Disconnect the following cables as appropriate:
   • PCI or XAUI cards
   • Alarm board
   • TTYA serial port
   • Serial management port
   • Network management port
   • USB ports
   • Ethernet ports
   • Power supplies
3. If you are going to remove the CMA, also remove the cables from it.
4. Remove the server from the rack.
