This procedure explains how to connect devices to the server (remotely and
locally), so that you can interact with the service processor (SP) and the
                    server console.

                -
Connect an Ethernet cable to the Gigabit Ethernet (NET) connectors as
                        needed for OS support.
                    See
Rear Panel Connector Locations.
-
To connect to the service processor's Oracle ILOM over the network,
connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port labeled NET MGT.
                    See
Rear Panel Connector Locations.
-
To access the Oracle ILOM command-line interface (CLI) locally using the
management port, connect a serial null modem cable to the RJ-45 serial port
                        labeled SER MGT.
                    See
Rear Panel Connector Locations.
-
To interact with the system console locally, connect a mouse and keyboard
to the USB connectors and a monitor to the DB-15 video connector.
                    See
Rear Panel Connector Locations.
