Configuring the Agent Server

XA data sources are required for the agent server. To configure the agent server:

  1. Create the following files in the <ATG9dir>/home/servers/server_name/localconfig directory:

    /atg/dynamo/service/jdbc/FakeXADataSource_agent.properties

    /atg/dynamo/service/jdbc/FakeXADataSource_production.properties

    /atg/reporting/datawarehouse/FakeXADataSource.properties

  2. Edit the files to contain the information required for your database. For example:

    driver=oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver
    URL=jdbc:oracle:thin:@db_server_name_or_ip:db_port:SID_of_oracle_db
    user=databaseuser
    password=dbuserpassword
