Search auxiliary data adapters updates solutions that order and update the hot solutions and top solutions list. You need to ensure that the remoteHost and remotePort numbers are set on the search server to associate the solution auxiliary data adapter.
On the Search Server, open
<ATG9dir>/home/servers/svcsearch/and create a file entitled
localconfig/atg/searchadmin/adapter/customizationRemoteSolutionAuxiliaryDataAdapter.properties.Configure the file with the following information:
remoteHost=KnowledgeServerName
remotePort=KnowledgeServerRMIPort
enabled=trueRe-index the search project to enable these settings.
When the
RemoteSolutionAuxiliaryDataAdapteris enabled, you will see a Hot and Top Solutions Meta-Data customization item in the auxiliary customization items in the Customizations section of the Content tab of the search project.
