You can configure the default settings for user preferences. Internal user preferences are managed using the Agent server.
Open the BCC > Service Admin > Service Admin Configuration >

Project
> Service Center > Global Service Center Settings > User Preferences Default page.Check the appropriate boxes to set the default behavior to alert users when they attempt to discard a new solution or submit a task.
Use the Default Home Tab menu to select the tab that appears by default in ATG Service Center.
The Default Solution Class menu selects the default solution class in the Contribute tab.
Select the default number of Answers per Page on each page after a search.
Enable Statement Editing allows users to edit search statements by default.
Select the default tab that appears when the user makes a new call.
Select the default panel that appears when the user makes a new call.
