Internal user segments are used for ATG Service Center solution view access and for statement personalization. Internal user segments follow the Internal Segments and Targeters workflow.
You use internal user segments to create solution internal audiences. A solution’s internal audience determines who can view the solution inside ATG Service Center, for example when performing queries in the Research tab. Access to modify solutions is determined by the solution’s owning group and user-specific status access rights.
