Attach Devices to the Server
This section provides instructions for connecting remote and local devices to
the server so you can interact with the service processor (SP) and the server
console.
For port and connector information, see Back Panel Connector Locations and Back Panel Components.

Connect four Ethernet cables to the Gigabit Ethernet (NET) connectors as
needed for OS support.

To connect to Oracle ILOM over the network, connect an Ethernet cable to
the Ethernet port labeled NET MGT.

To access the Oracle ILOM command-line interface (CLI) locally using the
management port, connect a serial null modem cable to the RJ-45 serial port
labeled SER MGT.
