CMOD Components

CMODs include the following processor (CPU) and DIMM memory components:

• The processor-heatsink module (PHM) assembly includes heatsink, processor, thermal interface material (TIM), and carrier.

  CMOD Processor

• 12 DIMM slots arranged in two groups of six

  CMOD Memory

• Fault Remind Test Circuit, which helps you locate failed DIMMs and verify a failed CPU

  • Fault Remind button

  • 12 DIMM slot fault indicators

  • 1 CPU fault indicator
