Confronto tra il comando `ndd` e il comando `ipadm`

Rispetto al comando ndd, il comando ipadm fornisce i vantaggi riportati di seguito.

Fornisce informazioni su ciascuna proprietà TCP/IP, ad esempio il valore corrente e predefinito della proprietà, nonché l'intervallo di valori possibili. Di conseguenza, ottenere le informazioni di debug risulta più facile.
Segue una sintassi di comando coerente e, pertanto, è più facile da utilizzare.
Configurazione persistente dei parametri configurabili del livello di routing e trasporto, resa possibile dall'uso di un comando secondario ipadm anziché i comandi ndd non sottoposti a commit necessari in precedenza che richiedono l'uso di script SMF personalizzati o di script /etc/rc*.d.
