Synopsis

Transfer from ATOK12

/usr/bin/atokx2cvttool  -a |

Transfer from ATOK8

/usr/bin/atokx2cvttool  -8 [
-k on | off] [-d all | main | off]

Description

The following setting and dictionaries of ATOK12 and ATOK8 are transferred to ATOK for Oracle Solaris

  • Setting of entry and conversion (only for ATOK12)

  • Setting of keys and the Roman alphabet

  • Dictionary (only basic dictionary set or all dictionary sets)

At the time of execution, specify items to be transferred with options.

Options

Specify ATOK8

–8

Always specify when transferring from ATOK8.

Set a target user

When transferring from ATOK12, always specify either –a or – u options. When transferring from ATOK8, users cannot be specified.

–a

All users who exist in ATOK12's user data will be the target for transfer.

–u user

Specify users of ATOK12 for transfer. Users who are registered in the OS can be specified. When several users are specified, specify the same number of –u as the number of users.

For example: –u taro – u hanako

Set the path of the original file for transfer (when transferring from ATOK8, the path cannot be specified).

–o path_to_directory

Specify a directory with dictionary files and setting files of ATOK12 for transfer (default: /var/locale/ja/atokserver/users ).

Set the contents for transfer (when transferring from ATOK8, – i cannot be specified.)

–i on | off

Specify transfer or non-transfer of the setting for entry conversion of ATOK12 (default: on).

Set keys and the Roman alphabet

Though keys and the Roman alphabet are transferred, the setting for key customization cannot be carried out from the functions added in ATOK for Oracle Solaris.

  • From ATOK12

    The style set as [Present style] in ATOK12 is the target. The style name will be the "former style name (ATOK12)", which will be set as the present style in ATOK for Oracle Solaris.

  • From ATOK8

    The style name will be "converted (ATOK8)" and set as the present style in ATOK for Oracle Solaris.

Dictionary

Dictionary
  • From ATOK12

    The user dictionary in the dictionary set of ATOK12 will be converted to the dictionary of ATOK17 and set as the user dictionary of the dictionary set of ATOK for Oracle Solaris. The auxiliary dictionary of ATOK12 that was set as the dictionary set will be converted to the dictionary of ATOK17 and added to the dictionary set of ATOK for Oracle Solaris.

  • From ATOK8

    Words registered in the user dictionary of ATOK8 will be registered in the user dictionary of the dictionary set of ATOK for Oracle Solaris.

    Execute with the user for transfer.
