Servicing NVMe Storage Drives
The procedure to install, remove, or replace an NVMe drive depends upon the OS. You can replace the factory-installed NVMe and cables in case either of them become faulty. NVMe support is provided on the motherboard.
Note -
NVMe storage drives are supported only on servers that are running Oracle Solaris. Servers that are running Oracle VM, Windows Server, or VMware ESXi do not support NVMe drives. Support for NVMe is on the motherboard.
