You must determine if the drive backplane is faulty before you replace it.
-> show /System/Storage /System/Power Targets: Disks Controllers Volumes Expanders Properties: health = OK health_details = - ... ->
For example, type:
-> show faulty Target | Property | Value --------------------+------------------------+------------------------------- /SP/faultmgmt/0 | fru | /SYS/DBP ... ->
If the drive backplane is faulty, you will see /SYS/DBP under the Value heading.
If a FRU value different from /SYS/DBP is displayed, see Component Service Task Reference to identify which component is faulty.
