SEO Tags are items whose properties are used to set the content of the <title> and <meta> tags of site pages, so Web search engines like Google rank these pages highly for key search terms. SEO Tags items, and the values to use for their properties, are described in detail in the ATG Programming Guide.
To create an SEO Tags item:
In the SEO Tags view of the Browse tab, click the Create New button, and from the dropdown list that displays, select SEO Tags.
In the Content Key text box, enter an identifier to use for looking up the item.
In the Description text box, enter text describing the content of the page.
In the Keywords text box, enter a list of search keywords for the page.
In the Title text box, enter text to be used as the title of the page.
In the Display Name text box, enter a display name to be used for the item.
Click Create.
The new item displays in the Navigation pane.
