After you perform a multi edit operation, a confirmation page divides your results into four status boxes:
A Not Changed box lists the assets that were unchanged because you clicked the Stop button, ending the multi edit operation before processing them.
A Successful box lists assets that were changed in the way you intended.
An Unsuccessful box lists assets that weren’t changed because an error was encountered and the suggested change couldn’t be processed. One change that produces assets in this list is removing the property value from a property that requires one.
A No Changed Needed box lists the assets that already held the property value you suggested, so no change was necessary.
Similarly, the list of assets in the Navigation pane includes checkmark icons beside changed assets and x mark icons beside unchanged ones.
To view an asset’s current property values, click its name in one of the Details pane status boxes. Information about why an asset wasn’t changed also displays here for assets from the Unsuccessful box. You can edit asset properties, but know that if you do, you’ll generate a new confirmation page based on those changes, which will replace the prior one.
Once you finish your bulk editing operation, you can navigate to other tabs and resume asset editing operations. Clicking the Exit button in the Multi Edit tab at anytime removes the confirmation page permanently.
