Power On an NVMe Storage Drive and Attach a Device Driver (Oracle Solaris)

This task uses pcie13 as an example.

1. Enable the PCIe slot.

   # hotplug enable pcie13

2. Display the status of the NVMe storage drive.

   The state of the slot must be Enabled.

   # hotplug list –lc
   Connection  State    Description     Path
   ------------------------------------------------------------------
   pcie13      Enabled  PCIe-Native     /pci@7a,0/pci8086,2f08@3/pci111d,80b5@4

3. Check the NVMe drive information.

   # nvmeadm list
