Disconnect Power Cords and Data Cables

1. Power off the server.

   See:

   • Power Off the Server (Power Button - Graceful)

   • Power Off the Server (Emergency Shutdown)

2. Unplug all power cords from the server.

   ---

   Caution  -  Because 3.3 VDC standby power is always present in the system, you must unplug the power cords before accessing any cold-serviceable components.

   ---

   • For AC power cords.

     
     

   • For DC power cords.

     
     
3. Disconnect and remove all of the data cables that are attached to the rear of the server.
