- Prepare
the server for service.

- Remove the PCI mezzanine and
place it on an antistatic mat.
See Remove the PCI Mezzanine.
- Unpack the flash module and place
it on an antistatic mat.
- Ensure that the flash module
socket ejector levers are open (rotated outward).
- Align the notch in the flash
module with the key in the motherboard socket.
This notch ensures that the flash module is oriented correctly.
- Using both thumbs, press the
flash module straight down into the socket until both ejector levers
click, locking the flash module into the slot.
The flash module must be inserted evenly, straight down into
the slot until the flash module locks into place.
