View Event Logs

Use this procedure to view the BIOS event log and the BMC system event log.

1. Access the BIOS Setup utility menus.

   For instructions, see Access the BIOS Setup Utility Menus.

2. View the BIOS event log.
   1. From the BIOS Main menu screen, select Advanced.
   2. From the Advanced Settings screen, select Event Log Configuration.
   3. From the Event Logging Details screen, select View Event Log.

      All unread events are displayed.

      
      
3. View the BMC system event log.
   1. From the BIOS Main menu screen, select IPMI Configuration.
   2. From the Advanced Setting screen, select IPMI Configuration.
   3. From the IPMI Configuration screen, select View BMC System Event Log.

      Use the + and - keys to page through the event log.
