The system provides two ESM fault LEDs to help you detect ESM failures:
Capacitor Charged LED on the ESM riser
This LED lights green when the ESM is fully charged. In the event of a power failure, the ESM provides power to the flash modules to allow them to store their internal working state and any cached data into the flash array. The Capacitor Charged LED will turn off when the ESM discharges all of its stored power.
ESM fault LED on the motherboard
If either the ESM riser or ESM fails, this LED lights amber when you press the Fault Remind button.
