Install Fan Tray 1
- Remove the replacement fan tray 1 from its packaging and place it on an antistatic mat.
- Lower the fan tray, and slide
the fan tray 1 bracket back so that the tabs enter the slots.
Caution - To ensure proper system cooling, make sure the airflow direction arrow on the fan assembly points to the rear of the server.
- Squeeze the fan tray handle until you can insert the front tab into the front slot.
- Connect the fan tray 1 cable to the PCI mezzanine.
- Return the server to operation.
