Remove PCIe2 Cards From Slots 4 and 5

1. Prepare the server for service

   See Preparing the Server for Component Replacement.

2. With the PCI mezzanine installed and cabled, identify which card is to be removed.
3. Disconnect any external or internal cables connected to the card.
4. Slide the card to the left and lift it out of the PCI mezzanine.
   

   Set the card aside on an antistatic mat.

5. Consider your next step:

   • If you are replacing the card, continue to Install PCIe2 Cards Into Slots 4 and 5.

   • If you are not replacing the card, install a filler panel in the empty rear panel slot.

6. Return the server to operation.
