Remove Fan Tray 0

1. Prepare the server for service.

   See Preparing the Server for Component Replacement.

2. Disconnect the fan tray power cable from the PCI mezzanine.
   
3. Remove the fan tray cable from the cable guides on the air duct.
4. Insert your forefinger and thumb into the holes at the top of the fan tray, squeeze your fingers together, and lift the fan tray from the chassis.
5. Set the fan tray on an antistatic mat.
6. Consider your next step:

   • If you removed the fan assembly as part of another procedure, return to that procedure.

   • Otherwise, continue to Install Fan Tray 0.
