Remove the Flash Module Cable

1. Prepare the server for service.

   See Preparing the Server for Component Replacement.

2. Remove the PCI mezzanine and place it on an antistatic mat.

   See Remove the PCI Mezzanine.

3. If there is a PCIe2 card installed in PCIe2 slot 2, remove the card and place it on an antistatic mat.

   See Remove the Lower PCIe2 Cards.

4. Remove the Flash Module cable from the motherboard assembly.
   
5. Consider your next step:

   • If you removed the cable as part of another procedure, return to that procedure.

   • Otherwise, continue to Install the Flash Module Cable.
