Remove the SAS Controller HBA

1. Prepare the server for service.

   See Preparing the Server for Component Replacement.

2. Locate the SAS controller HBA on the PCI mezzanine.

   The HBA is installed in the right-most slot on the PCI mezzanine.

3. Remove the two SAS cables connected to the HBA.
   
4. Use a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw securing the HBA to the PCI mezzanine.

   Save this screw for when you install a SAS controller HBA in the slot.

5. Slide the card to the left and lift it out of the PCI mezzanine.

   Set the card aside on an antistatic mat.
