Install the Flash Module Cable

1. Remove the replacement flash module cable from its packaging and place it on an antistatic mat.
2. Install the flash module cable to the motherboard assembly.

   Find the cable connections in PCIe2 slot 1 on the motherboard.

   
   
3. Consider your next step:

   • If you installed the cable as part of another procedure, return to that procedure.

   • Otherwise, continue with this task.

4. If you removed a card from PCIe2 slot 1, replace the card.

5. Install the PCI mezzanine.

6. Return the server to operation.
