Remove Fan Tray 1

1. Prepare the server for service.

   See Preparing the Server for Component Replacement.

2. Disconnect the fan tray 1 cable from the PCI mezzanine.
   
3. Press and hold the release button on the fan tray 1 bracket, and pivot the fan tray upward.
4. Slide the bracket forward and lift the fan tray out of the system and set it on an antistatic mat.
5. Continue to Install Fan Tray 1.
