Remove the Power Distribution Board

1. Prepare the server for service.

   See Preparing the Server for Component Replacement.

2. Remove the following components to expose the power distribution board:

   • Remove a Power Supply

   • Remove the Optical Media Drive

   • Remove a Drive

   • Remove Fan Tray 0

   • Remove Fan Tray 2

   • Remove the Media Bay Assembly

3. Disconnect the four cables from the power distribution board.
   
4. Remove the screws that secure the power distribution board to the chassis.

   There are five screws that secure the power distribution board to the chassis, and four screws that connect it to the bus bar.

   
   
5. Lift the power distribution board out of the chassis and set it aside on an antistatic mat.
   
6. Continue to Install the Power Distribution Board.
