Restart Oracle Fabric OS

Oracle Fabric OS is started automatically each time the switch is powered on or restart. You can also explicitly restart Oracle Fabric OS without affecting power to the switch. Restarting Oracle Fabric OS is supported through Oracle Fabric OS.

Note -  Restarting Oracle Fabric OS disconnects the current Oracle Fabric OS session. You will need to reconnect to Oracle Fabric OS after the restart is completed.
  1. Access the Oracle Fabric OS.

See Access the Oracle Fabric OS.

  2. After successfully logging in to Oracle Fabric OS, type:
    admin@switch[OFOS] system restart-ofos
Restarting OFOS may disrupt IO traffic on attached servers. Are you sure you
want to restart the system (y/n)?y
    [admin@switch ~]#

While the Oracle Fabric OS restarts, numerous system messages scroll across the management window.

  3. When the restart sequence is complete, login to either Oracle ILOM CLI or Oracle ILOM Web again.
