Filter the System Log by Using Predefined Conditions (Oracle ILOM Web)

You can filter the system log so that it displays entries that match a criterion you select. The switch has predefined filter criteria based on subsystem and event type, but you also can create custom filters. Use this task to filter the system log by using predefine conditions.

  1. Choose System Log.
  2. From the Filter drop-down menu, select the subsystem or event type to use for filtering.

The system log contains only entries that match the criterion you selected.

Note -  You can display the entire system log by selecting All Entries from the Filter drop-down menu.
  3. In the Rows Per Page field, type the number of rows that you want displayed on each page of the system log.
  4. Click OK.

The number of rows you set is not persistent across sessions, so if you log out, the number of rows displayed per page resets to the default value (25).
