Set the AD User's Role and Privileges (Oracle ILOM Web)

For AD users accessing the switch, you can set the user's specific roles and privileges.

1. Choose ILOM Administration→User Management, and click the Active Directory tab.
2. Select the Enabled checkbox for State.
3. From the Roles drop-down menu, make a selection:

   • Administrator or Operator to set either role and the predefined privileges for it.

   • None (Server Authorization) to have the user's role assigned by the active directory server.

   • Advanced Roles to have a customizable set of privileges assigned to the active directory user.

4. For Advanced Roles, select the appropriate checkboxes to enable those privileges for the Active Directory user.

5. Click Save.
