Configure the Switch Console Properties (Oracle ILOM CLI)

You can control the properties of the console connection to the switch. For example, you can enable or disable console logging or set the number of lines displayed in the console window.

1. Enable console logging.

   -> set /HOST/console/ logging=enabled
   Set 'logging' to 'enabled'
   ->
   

2. Set the number of lines to be displayed in the console.

   -> set /HOST/console/ line_count=16
   Set 'line_count' to '16'
   ->
   

3. Set the number of lines before a pause prompt is displayed in the console session.

   -> set /HOST/console/ pause_count=99
   Set 'pause_count' to '99'
   ->
   

4. Set where the console display will start to display, either from the beginning lines of the display or the end.

   -> set /HOST/console/ start_from=beginning
   Set 'start_from' to 'beginning'
   ->
