Add SNMP Service Communities (Oracle ILOM Web)
SNMP communities are supported in SNMP v1 and v2c only. Each community
account can be from 1 to 32 characters long. The switch is configured with
two default communities public and
private, but you can configure custom communities.
Custom communities names:

Must be from one to 35 characters in length

Must start with an alphabetic character

Cannot contain blank spaces

Choose ILOM Administration→Management Access, and click the SNMP
tab.

Click the Communities link.
The page scrolls to the SNMP Communities table.

In the SNMP Communities table, click Add.
A pop-up window opens.

Type the community name into the Community Name field.

Select the permissions from the Permission drop-down menu.

Select Read-Only for the ability to read, but not change,
information on the switch.

Select Read-Write for the ability to read, and make changes
to, information on the switch.

Click Save.
