Set the Switch's IPv4 Management Network Properties (Oracle ILOM Web)

If the network management interface is configured on an IPv4 network, use this task to configure the SP and network management interface properties.

1. Choose ILOM Administration→Connectivity, and click the Network tab.
2. In the IPv4 section, click the Enabled checkbox for State.
3. Select the address discovery mode for IPv4 addresses:

   • DHCP for the switch to obtain its address dynamically from a DHCP server.

   • Static for the switch to receive a static address that you explicitly assign.

4. Complete the configuration based on the IP address discovery mode.
   • For DHCP, select the DHCP Client ID from the drop-down menu.
   • For Static, enter the static IP address, netmask, and network gateway address.
5. For DHCP, configure the DHCP addresses.

6. Click Save.
7. If the switch must also support IPv6, configure these properties.
