Test the Management Network Configuration (Oracle ILOM CLI)

The switch can send IPv4 ping and IPv6 ping6 packets to a specified destination to ensure that networking is configured correctly.

• Use the method appropriate for your network protocol version:
  • For IPv4, send a ping packet to a device that supports IPv4.

    -> set /SP/network/test/ping 10.11.12.13
    ->
    

  • For IPv6, send a ping6 packet to a device that supports IPv6.

    -> set /SP/network/test/ping6 10.11.12.13
