Restart the Switch (Oracle ILOM Web)
When you restart the switch, you are applying power to a switch that is
receiving some power in some part of its power subsystem. You can restart a
running switch by either resetting or power cycling it, and the switch
behaves differently depending on the method you use to restart the switch.
-
Choose Host Management→Power Control.
-
From the Select Action drop-down menu, choose a restart option.
-
Select Reset to power cycle the switch (power it off, then
power it on) while continuing to apply standby power to some of
the switch's subsystems.
-
Select Power Cycle to power the switch off, then power it on.
No standby power is applied to any of the switch's
subsystems.
