Delete an SNMP Service User Account (Oracle ILOM CLI)

You can selectively delete SNMP v3 user accounts without having to change other SNMP properties. When an SNMP v3 user account is deleted, that user can no longer access the switch.


Note -  If you delete an SNMP v3 user account from Oracle ILOM, the switch can no longer decode any traps sent to that user account.
  • Delete an SNMP user.
    -> delete /SP/services/snmp/users/username
    

    where username is the name of the SNMP user to be deleted.

    For example, to delete the user snmpuser, type:

    -> delete /SP/services/snmp/users/snmpuser
    Are you sure you want to delete /SP/services/snmp/users/snmpuser (y/n)? y
    Deleted /SP/services/snmp/users/snmpuser
    ->
