Download SNMP Service MIBs (Oracle ILOM CLI)

The SNMP MIBs are contained on the switch as individual files, but you can download them to a remote device, typically an SNMP host. This task creates a compressed file, ilom-mibs.zip, that contains the following MIBs:

• ENTITY-MIB.mib

• SUN-HW-CTRL-MIB.mib

• SUN-HW-TRAP-MIB.mib

• SUN-ILOM-CONTROL-MIB.mib

• SUN-ILOM-SYSTEM-MIB.mib

• SUN-PLATFORM-MIB.mib

• Download the MIBs.

  -> dump -destination URI /SP/services/snmp/mibs
  

  where URI is the uniform resource indicator.

  For example, to dump the MIBs as the ilom-mibs.zip file to a server with IP address 123.45.67.89 using the FTP protocol:

  -> dump -destination ftp://root:changeme@123.45.67.89/tftpboot/ilom-mibs.zip /SP/services/snmp/mibs
  Dump successful.
  ->
  

  The MIBs are downloaded.
