Configure Login Message Properties (Oracle ILOM CLI)

When users are logging in to the switch, you can configure a banner message to provide customized information. As part of the login message, you also can configure an optional acknowledgement that users must confirm before they can complete logging in to the switch.

1. Set a message that is displayed when users successfully log in to the switch.

    -> set /SP/preferences/banner/login/ message="You must log off when done with this switch!"
   Set 'message' to 'You must log off when done with this switch!'
   ->
   

2. (Optional) Set whether users must accept the login banner message before they can connect to the switch.

    -> set /SP/preferences/banner/login/ message_acceptance=enabled
   Set 'message_acceptance' to 'enabled'
   ->
