Disable FIPS (Oracle ILOM Web)

You can disable the FIPS service if a data transmissions is not pending. Some other services are blocked when FIPS is enabled, so disabling FIPS enables some other features to become available, such as:

• LDAP can be enabled when FIPS is disabled

• RADIUS can be enabled when FIPS is disabled.

• IPMI 1.5 sessions can be enabled when FIPS is disabled.

To enable FIPS, you must reboot the SP, which also clears the configuration.

1. Choose ILOM Administration→Management Access, and click the FIPS tab.
2. Clear the Enabled checkbox for State.

   ---

   Note -  All configuration data will be removed on the next boot. The state cannot be modified if there is already a pending configuration reset.

   ---

3. Click Maintenance.
4. Click the Reset SP tab.
5. Click Reset SP.

   A pop-up window prompts you for confirmation.

6. Click OK.

   The SP is reset. Any active sessions are terminated.

7. Click Save.
